Getting started
KromaPlay is a client for media you already own — it doesn't host or provide any content. To use it, sign in to your own Plex or Jellyfin server, then browse and play your library. You bring the server; KromaPlay plays what's on it with full modern-codec support (HEVC, AV1, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and lossless / hi-res audio).

Common questions
How do I connect to my server?
Open KromaPlay and sign in to your Plex account or your Jellyfin server. KromaPlay connects directly to your server — your sign-in stays on your device.
Does KromaPlay collect my data?
No. There are no analytics, ads, or trackers, and KromaPlay creates no account of its own. See the Privacy Policy for the full details, including the one optional feature (the Kadence AI DJ) that sends data off your device.
Playback won't start or shows wrong colors
Make sure your server is reachable and the title plays in the official client first. For HDR / Dolby Vision, a compatible display helps. If it still fails, email us with the title and your server type.
